Fantasy Football live updates: Week 2 waiver wire, sleepers, Cordarrelle Patterson’s value, rankings, start/sit and more

Fantasy players know about the “Most Added” page on CBS, or its counterparts — Transaction Trends on Yahoo and Most Added on ESPN. But CBS also has a “Most Viewed” option and it’s a great indicator of who people are going to be bidding on or chasing on the wire when it opens up. As of right now, the most viewed non-injured players are:

Cordarrelle PattersonHenry RuggsZach PascalMichael PittmanK.J. OsbornVan Jefferson Zack MossChristian Kirk Larry RountreeNelson Agholor

We’ll go fairly deep throughout this blog — some of the players listed above are available in only 20-30% of leagues, which is essentially pointless as far as giving advice.

My personal favorite this week? At 40% rostership or less? Definitely Patterson (9% in CBS leagues). He’s super-intriguing to me — he fits the Arthur Smith offense really well, he’s a a huge, bruising back who has a high degree of elusiveness. He’s involved in the pass game. He’s in an offense that has a lot of weapons. He’s not playing a lot of snaps, but when he gets in he makes the most of it. And there’s a funky twist — on CBS, he’s listed as a WR. On ESPN, he’s an RB. On Yahoo… he’s both. I’d bid up a little higher on Yahoo if you can. That positional flexibility could be big if Patterson forces his way into more snaps.
